The Mission: Build a video that showcases Fathym’s low-code framework, which had yet to be released. The video should be a preview of the product, and show its vision.

It all starts with a script…..
I interviewed all stakeholders, including the engineering team and CEO, and distilled their input into a script. After I was happy with the draft, I reviewed it internally with the team.

The Story Board
From there, I mapped the text to potential videos. What elements of the product did we want to show? What types of customers?

Video Production Team
I knew we wanted to hire contractors to put the final video together. This led to a hunt for the right team. I found that in a local startup that later went on to work on the award winning documentary Chasing Coral.

Voice Talent
I recruited a colleague to be our voice talent. With some coaching and professional recording equipment, she was perfect.

Directing
I kept in close contact with the video team to review shots and make sure everything was going to plan and schedule.

The Final Product
Our final product was a comprehensive, slim product video that showcased the company’s vision. It helped the team raise funds and make sales.
